Local Showcase: Playwrights, Poets and Storytellers

An evening devoted to fans of a story well told, a play well written, or a poem well constructed.

Pot Luck Productions’ Glendora Davis and crew will showcase some of their latest short plays freshly written by area women  playwrights.  Pot Luck has been around for years, encouraging women writers to hone their craft as playwrights and then mounting readings and stage productions to get these shows on the boards.

River and Prairie Story Weavers are story tellers in the ancient oral tradition traced back to prehistoric campfires.  Some stories are sad, some funny, some thought provoking…but all are fun to hear.

Unpacking Poetry is creation of a trio of KKFI volunteer poets, Topher Enneking, Garret Tufte and Sharon Gibson. They showcase and then analyze some of the area’s best poets.
