Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Diana Linn, Host of the Tasty Brew Music Radio Show, will be serving up the Local Showcase this week on September 7 from 8 to 10 pm. Her guests will be Crossroads MusicFest musical artists Barclay Martin, AJ Young Band and Don Simon from Lost Cowgirl Records.
Tune in to hear one of Barclay’s last appearances before he leaves his beloved Kansas City to live in Spain.
AJ Young will be bring his entire band into the studio on the Local Showcase and will be playing solo acoustic on the Tasty Brew Music Stage at the Crossroads MusicFest September 9.
Lost Cowgirl Records from Kansas City is giving a unique face and voice to fierce women carrying the spirit of Americana by singing and slinging from the heart and the gut. Lost Cowgirl Records has a showcase stage at The Living Room Theater at this year’s Crossroads Music Fest.
