A little new and a little vintage blues music this Saturday on the Crosscut Blues show.  We’ll turn the Spotlight on Lou Ann Barton, a founding member of Double Trouble, and the Holmes Brothers with their recent release Brotherhood.  Since It’s the first Saturday of the month Crosscut Blues presents many recent releases from John Mayall, Lisa Biales, Glen David Andrews, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.  Vintage blues taken out of the vault and dusted off from Harmonica Shah, Elmore James Wynonie Harris, Shannon Curfman, Harper, John Hammond, and as many more as we can fit in.  So, come get your blues groove on early with Crosscut Blues.  This is also the Spring/Summer Pledge drive for KKFI and a chance for you to have some say in keeping Crosscut Blues alive and kicking you in the music center of brain every Saturday.  Pledges can be made in any amount or even break it down into smaller monthly amount by a sustaining pledge.  You can even make a pledge now by clicking on the “Donate” blue button on KKFI’s main page.  Don’t forget to tell ‘em, “The Crosscut Blues Show Sent Me!”.
