This week on the Heartland Labor Forum, we’re changing our schedule to memorialize Pete Seeger–banjo player, balladeer, singalong leader, union member, and blacklisted by McCarthyites. Pete died last week, and people who knew him will share stories about him, some from when Pete came to Kansas City.

Then, as pension benefits get wiped out by bankruptcies and concession demands, Congress is proposing changes to ERISA–the pension law. We’ll ask “Will ERISA Get the Kiss of Death?”  Thursday at 6PM, rebroadcast Friday at 5AM.
