Middle School Kids Talk Labor History and Bill Fletcher has a novel: The Man That Fell from the Sky

This week on the Heartland Labor Forum, we’ll hear local Kansas City Missouri Middle School students discuss the history of child labor and what it means for students today. Then, longtime labor guru Bill Fletcher Jr. talks about his new novel called The Man Who Fell from the Sky, about a young journalist with African immigrant parents who investigates a murder in 1970 while covering anti-Vietnam War protests and the Black Panthers.  Tune in Thursday at 6pm, rebroadcast Friday at 5am.
