John has made it his personal mission to unearth Kansas City’s best musicians by giving them the airplay they deserve. On his program, “Under the Radar”, anything goes. From rock to country, folk to funk, there’s something here for all.
It’s a great show on Under The Radar this week as John Todd welcomes local band and Nation of Love label artist Mr. History to the KKFI studios!

Sounds range from from rock, hip-hop/R&B, to ballads and Post-rock melodic soundscapes. Frequently countered by a rotating lineup of local visual artists ranging from painting to experimental video media, this is a group effort to captivate the audiences’ senses.”
