Music City Roots: Live from the Loveless Cafe, a weekly show featuring the finest Americana and roots music from and passing through Nashville, TN. Staged at the barn behind the historic Loveless Cafe, Music City Roots has become a cherished showcase for traditional country and every flavor of bluegrass, folk and roots rock. They’re modeled after the old-time radio barn dances of the 1930s but we project a spirit of virtual community in keeping with the socially networked 21st century. This condensed version of a live show is hosted by Music City Roots Interview Guy Craig Havighurst, a music journalist and broadcaster.

I’d like to see this show on regularly. I’ve listened online, but having it broadcast local on a specific day/time would be a welcome idea. What I especially like about the show is an opportunity to hear people I’m not familiar with. The production quality is very good and Jim Lauderdale’s an excellent host.
