WINGS
WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
Myanmar, formerly Burma, is a country emerging from both a totalitarian and a traditional background. Local women’s initiative Akhaya provides tools and support mechanisms for women to challenge gender stereotypes, bring gender equality into their homes and communities, and campaign for a safer and more equal environment in their country.
