Tell Somebody
"Tell Somebody" is a locally-produced weekly public affairs program on the air on KKFI since September 2005. Tell Somebody strives to provide in-depth coverage of international, national and local issues on important issues and viewpoints often ignored or distorted in the corporate media.
This week on Tell Somebody, Tom Klammer will talk to the CEO of the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC), Nicole Lamoureux, and Kansas City CARE Clinic CEO, Sheri Wood, about Saturday’s free health clinic in the metro. The clinic is meant to provide care for the area’s uninsured and medically underserved. As of 2014, more than 31 million Americans remain uninsured – 816,000 of them in Missouri. The clinic will be staffed by volunteers, including healthcare professionals from the community and those who travel from other parts of the country to be a part of this critical event.
