New Music from Loretta Lynn and Farewell to Louis Meyers

Diana Linn, host of the Tasty Brew Music Show, with Sara Morgan in tow, actually met The Queen of Country Music, Miss Loretta Lynn, during her last tour stop in Kansas City in November, 2014.  During a conversation on Ms. Lynn’s bus, they discussed everything from the current state of country music to her museum in Tennessee.  Tune in to hear more new tunes from Loretta’s first new album in ten years, Full Circle.   Also, this past week, the music industry lost a visionary in Louis Meyers, co-founder of the South by Southwest Music Festival,  former Executive Director of Folk Alliance International, music producer and manager for Missouri artists, The Hillbenders and a multi-instrumentalist in his own right.  Diana Linn will share her own stories of Louis and feature music from his masterwork…The Hillbenders’ bluegrass rendition of Tommy: A Rock Opera.
