The All Souls Unitarian Universalist Forum, Kansas City's longest ongoing conversation, has offered a platform for the discussion of significant issues since 1943.
Nuns on the Bus, a project of NETWORK, a National Catholic Social Justice lobby. Led by Sister Simone Campbell, this group of nuns is travelling around the country holding town hall meetings about social justice. KKFI was on hand to record the event at Community Christian Church in Kansas City
By listening to the people and letting their stories break open our hearts, we can develop solutions that meet the real needs of people and prioritize the common good.
• We must seek out the stories in our midst and share them.
• We must demand a new political reality.
• We must help our nation bridge the divides that harm us.
