KKFI tries out various syndicated programs during this timeslot.
A “Town Hall For Our Lives” was held April 7 at the Saint Andrew
Christian Church in Olathe, Kansas.
All the candidates for Kansas district 3 in the US House of
Representatives were invited. The incumbent, Kevin Yoder, did not appear.
The moderator said that this district was one of only 15 districts in
the US that voted for the Democrat Hillary Clinton in 2016 and the
Republican Mitt Romney in 2012. “Real Clear Politics” rated this as a
toss-up.
Present in the order they spoke were Democrats Jay Sidie, Brent Welder,
Sharice Davids, Tom Niermann, Libertarian Chris Clemmons, and Democrats
Sylvia Williams and Mike McCamon.
