Passing of Bob Anderson, Eagle Cam Man

Bob Anderson, Midwestern environmentalist and founder of the Raptor Resource Project in Decorah, Iowa, died suddenly on July 27. This how is a tribute to his work. Anderson is best known as the creator of the Decorah Eagle Cam, seen by millions world wide, but his greatest achievement was bringing Peregrine Falcons back to the wild cliffs of the Mississippi River after they were considered extinct due to DDT in the 60’s.

Bob’s friends and colleagues describe his work and then we rebroadcast an interview from last year when Bob himself described the eagle cam and one of the baby eagles all the way to the North Pole.
