Williams is one of the principle architects of the American Voice in poetry that would establish OUR voice as distinct from the traditional iambic pentameter of Shakespearean English. This program features an important reading by  Williams, who reflects back on his life’s work this presentation given at the University of California at Berkeley in May 1955.
