Our guest this week on Art of the Song is Rebecca Loebe. Since quitting her job as an audio engineer, Rebecca has received numerous songwriting accolades including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award. With her home base in Austin, Texas, she tours the the US and Europe with 150 to 200 dates per year.
In 2011 she was a featured contestant on the first season of NBC’s “The Voice,” winning a spot on Team Adam and an iTunes Top 10 single worldwide with her captivating re-imagination of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are.” We spoke with Rebecca in our Albuquerque studio prior to the release of her fourth CD, Blink.
