Former EPA employee, Steve Fishman and Mid America Regional Council’s Matt Riggs join us landfill diversion through recycling and other things.
Steve Fishman is a former EPA employee, with a background in solid and hazardous waste. His assignments included market development for recycled materials, electronics recycling, diversion of organics from landfills, and glass recycling. He past president of the Missouri Recycling Association, Chair of the local chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association and the Heartland Chapter of the Certified Hazardous Managers Association. He has a degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
