A few decades ago, Kansas City had teachers and firefighters strikes, but it’s been years. This week on the Heartland Labor Forum we interview Joe Burns, who thinks we should bring back the public sector strike. Then, the Obama administration has been touch on whistleblowers, but there’s a program at OSHA which is prosecuting employers who retaliate against workers who blow the whistle on health and safety violations.
