This week on Guess Who’s Coming to Kansas City, former Kansas City Royals player Willie Mays Aikens joins host/executive producer M.C. Richardson in a very special edition of the show! Willie Aikens was drafted in 1975 by the then California Angels. In the winter of 1979, he was traded to the Kansas City Royals. In 1980, Aikens became the first player in World Series history to have multiple home run games. In 1983, Willie and three of his teammates became the first active baseball players to go to prison for drugs. Currently, Willie Aikens is a hitting coach and mentor for the KC Royals minor league affiliate in Surprise, Arizona. Aikens and his family live in Kansas City. He also has two adult daughters, Gretchen Nicole and Lucia Aikens. Tune in to hear his amazing turnaround story, plus a look at the late Rev.
