“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Savanna Chestnut, an important member of the songwriters that graced the Tasty Brew Music Stage at KKFI’s Crossroads Music Stage in September, returns to the Tasty Brew Music Radio Show to bring us up to date on her songwriting and touring. Comin’ to ya from the boondocks of Kansas, Savanna Chestnut has an ironic sense of humor and a love for the sweet, twangy sounds of old country music. Raised in various trailer parks and a couple different country houses, Savanna knows a thing or two about the humble, country lifestyle. Her hometown of Americus Kansas has a population of about 900. This is where she spent the vast majority of her childhood, and this is where her love of true country music is rooted.
Also joining host Diana Linn to spin a set of music will be KKFI overnight programmer Ross Quinn. He wants to see what it’s like to be on the radio so late in the morning….ha!
