Scots and the UK

In 2014, the Scots voted 55% to stay in the UK; but in 2016, they voted 62% to stay in the European Union. Another referendum on independence has been tabled for discussion in Scotland’s semi-autonomous Parliament, and the pro-independence forces already have groundwork laid.

Featuring:

Nicola Sturgeon, leader of the Scottish National Party and First Minister of the Scottish Parliament; Cat Boyd, labour leader, independence activist, and co-author of Scottish Independence: A Feminist Response.
