Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Music from the Delaware Lute Book, which houses A personal collection of Neal Shipe’s favorite Scottish Lute works from the 17th century. The first section of the show will be a live concert of music on soprano Lute and guitar, followed by an in depth look into the Balcarres Lute Book….which will include an airing of the solo EP “we all must rain now” as well as a recording of a new suite from Balcarres featuring beautiful arrangements by Rob Mackillop. The vibes will be mellow and we would love if you listened.
