Seth Glier

Our guest this week on Art of the Song is singer/songwriter Seth Glier. The Massachusetts native attendedĀ Berklee College of MusicĀ for a year before dropping out to tour full-time. Since then, heā€™s averaged over 200 shows a year,Ā and shared stages with artists such asĀ James Taylor,Ā Mark Knopfler,Ā andĀ Ani DiFranco.Ā He has appeared as a mainstage performer at Falcon RidgeĀ andĀ Kerrville Folk Festivals. Seth Glier is an outspoken advocate for autism awareness and has been a national spokesperson for the organization, Autism Speaks. His song ā€œLove Is A Languageā€ was inspired by his nonverbal autistic brother.Ā We spoke with Seth in front of an audience at the Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah, Oklahoma.
