Neil young once said, “numbers add up to nothin’,” which is certainly true, but what the hell, I’m going to celebrate my 400th episode anyway (not counting the 500 or so I did when the show was called “matrix,” but that was just volume one. This show includes songs that saved my life, gave me hope, kept me awake at night, inspired me, and fired up my imagination. Musical guests include the Beatles, Beck, Beirut, the Blue Aeroplanes, Amy Rigby, Anne Briggs, Richard and Linda Thompson, Howlin’ Wolf, Neil Young, Eddie Floyd, The Melodians, and many more.
