An outgrowth of Moral Mondays, Moral Week of Action concludes in North Carolina; participants were joined by protesters in 13 other states opposed to voter suppression and what they describe as the repressive Tea Party agenda. Meanwhile a court in Texas begins a case on a law requiring voters to have a photo ID.  Our guest is law professor Irving Joyner who is with North Carolina Central University School of Law.

And beltway insiders are predicting that President Obama will take no action on immigration reform until after the mid-term elections and a wife goes on hunger strike in the lead up to her husband   s deportation hearing.  Maru Mora Villalpando joins us.
