Workers on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe are voting on a proposal to eliminate conductor jobs and run trains with only an engineer. It’s stirring up lots of opposition from workers, their families, environmentalists and community members who remember the oil train explosion that killed 47 people in Quebec in 2013.
