Take Two
The "Take Two" short segment reviews independently made films and art-house movies currently showing in Kansas City. Take Two first went on the air in 2012 and is co-hosted by Russ Simmons, producer of the “Freeze Frame” short segment, and Susan Sanders.
The segment airs at the following times:
Wednesdays 9:30 am
Fridays 12:58 pm
Saturdays at 5:58 pm
Sundays 3:00 am
Scotty Bowers published a book in 2012 called “Full Service” that claimed to have chronicled his life as a pimp during Hollywood’s golden age and how he operated a brothel out of a gas station that catered to gay men. He also alleges that he had carried on a ménage à trois with Cary Grant and Randolph Scott AND Lana Turner and Ava Gardner! Now, at age 95, he relates these stories and more in the documentary “Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood” because none of the other participants are alive to defend themselves.
