Tasers, Rules for their Use. A Call In Show – Tell Us Your Story

A Call In Show – 816-931-5534

Tasers – Safe and Effective or Dangerous and Life Threatening?

Tasers have been sold to the police and the public as an alternative to the use of deadly force. Is that how they are being used? Are tasers being used instead of guns or are they being used to force compliance with police orders? How is it possible that a police officer can confuse his gun for his taser? Are they effective deterrence when attacked?

Hosts Rebecca Hamilton and Melvin Merritt talk with the wife of a man that was tased by the police. She will talk about the lingering effects of that incident. There are many health conditions that are aggravated by being tased, which raises the question Are they really safe? Call in to 816-931-5534 and tell us your story of being tased, whether by the police or some other authority.
