“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Women were chosen in record numbers last week to elective office in America. This week’s Tasty Brew Music will be riding that Pink Wave bursting with new tunes from some of Diana Linn’s favorite AND newly discovered female artists in the Roots Music world. Most notable this week will be new music from 16 year old Oklahoman Ken Pomeroy, Texas Singer Songwriters Jamie Lin Wilson and Carson McHone, Missouri’s Violet and the Undercurrents, Roots Artist Nicki Blum, Canada’s Lindi Ortega and Green Guitar Folk House with a local line up Kelly Hunt, Mikal Shapiro and Kasey Rausch. Most of these artists are playing shows this week in Kansas City! Mike Paget of Green Guitar is the in studio guest.
