The entire show is dedicated to the memory of one of the pillars of the KKFI community from it’s beginning, Ms. Caroline Lee.  Caroline passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18th, surrounded by her family. She was married to Signal To Noise host Barry Lee. She was an early volunteer and organizer for KKFI beginning in 1985. When the station went on the air in 1988, she hosted a show called “Watusi Rodeo,” which was one of the first alternative country radio shows in the country. After that, she guested often on Signal To Noise, tended her garden, went to music shows and doted on her cats. Barry plans a memorial show for her on May 4th at 9:00 pm on KKFI. There will also be a concert at Knuckleheads in July in her memory. She requested donations be sent to KKFI via www.kkfi.org/donate in lieu of flowers or cards.
