“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Diana Linn receives boatloads of new music each week and the challenge is to bring to KKFI listeners the tastiest blend of all things Americana/Bluegrass/Country/Roots Music. This week’s new offerings include music from Jen Mize (currently based in Australia), The Howlin’ Brothers, Donna the Buffalo and a young man Diana Linn met on a bus bound for The Loveless Barn and Music City Roots during her recent Nashville trip, Mike Musick. Yep, his name is Mike Musick. Sprinkled amongst the newbies will be Iris Dement, Sam Bush, Shawn Colvin, Elizabeth Cook, Brandi Carlile, Justin Townes Earle, Patty Griffin, Dale Watson and many, many more.
