The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Join Morning Buzz host Diana Linn for a great evening of Kansas City songwriters on this week’s Local Music Showcase from 8-10 p.m. this Thursday . In the studio playing unplugged will be Lauren Anderson of the Lauren Anderson Project, Sara Morgan, Scott Ford and Jeff Porter (The Rainmakers). It promises to be a tasty brew of blues, country and roots music from four of Kansas City’s finest.
