WINGS
WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
WINGS producer Smita Ramanathan traveled to Kerala and interviewed women tea workers about their strike that made an end run around the unions to negotiate for their own wages, hours, and amenities. She and her team in Bangalore discuss and translate the interview segments.
