Urban Connections conducts guest interviews covering issues effecting our local, national, international and global communities from a Black perspective. Subjects include current events, trends, history, education, economics, science, political science, health, race, law and more.
Teresa Leggard is a writer, editor, poet and playwright. She’s also a member of The Writers Place, Kansas City’s own literary community center. Her upcoming plays “The Birthday” and “To Bed” will be staged at the KC Fringe Festival this July, as part of the productions Girl on Girl and More 4Play.
