Terror Economics: Economics, Women, & the Red Brigades (Part 1)

On this edition of WINGS, we present an introduction to Loretta Napoleoni, author of Modern Jihad: Tracing the Dollars Behind the Terror Networks. We explore her research, and barriers to publishing. Her childhood friend was arrested for being one of the leaders of the Red Brigades. Napoleoni explains profiling by terrorist groups, and the concept that terrorism is largely an economic activity, albeit with an ideological line.
