Texas Songwriter Lazarus Nichols and Kansas City’s Teri Ann Quinn

Host Diana Linn welcomes Austin-based Songwriter Lazarus Nichols to the Tasty Brew Music Radio Show.  Introduced by fellow Austinites Libby Koch and Chuck Hawthorne at a Folk Alliance International Conference, Lazarus joins Diana Linn in the studio as he tours in support of his debut effort “Rock n Roll Heart.”  Nichols’ music is:

“Guided by a voice that digs deep into the center of the songs and holds on tight. Laz travels through the world of American Roots music, samplings the bloodlines of Folk, Blues, Dixieland, Country and Western as they pump into his Rock’n’Roll Heart” -Danny McCloskey,  The Alternate Root

Diana Linn also welcomes back Kansas City Roots artist Teri Ann Quinn. A Northern girl with a Southern heart living in the Mid-West, Teri writes tunes that are sweet yet savory. With her clawhammer banjo playing and old time hollerin’, she mixes an old fashioned sound with a modern grit drawing inspiration from moon phases and matters of the heart.
