Tell Somebody
"Tell Somebody" is a locally-produced weekly public affairs program on the air on KKFI since September 2005. Tell Somebody strives to provide in-depth coverage of international, national and local issues on important issues and viewpoints often ignored or distorted in the corporate media.
This week on Tell Somebody – as the Kansas City Public library billed it on their website for an event at the plaza branch on Tuesday September 16- “The Economy – Does More Government Help or Hurt? Stephanie Kelton, chair of UMKC’s Economics Department, and the University of Missouri’s Joseph Haslag face off in a discussion of the government’s role in the economy. Does it really know people’s wants and needs? What market failures can it it address? Mike Shanin moderates.
