EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
Craig Lubow explores environmental toxins in the home and their health impact. His guests will be Dana Nachman and Jennifer Canvasser. Dana was one of the directors of “The Human Experiment”, which featured actor Sean Penn as the narrator. Jennifer was one of the mother’s that lost a child to kidney failure, as a result of exposure to toxins during pregnancy. Jennifer is also a community organizer with the Ecology Center in Michigan.

Born and raised in New York, writer/director Dana Nachman’s films, WITCH HUNT (2008) and LOVE HATE LOVE (2011) have premiered and screened at the Toronto, Tribeca, IDFA, AFI and Cinequest Film Festivals.
She has won numerous prizes including 3 Emmy Awards, The Edward R Murrow Award, The Jury Award for Best Documentary at the Washington DC Independent Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Cinequest Film Festival. She has received more than a dozen grants for her work including grants from the Tribeca Institute, Fledgling Fund and the Pacific Pioneer Fund.
Nachman’s films have been seen by millions of people on various networks including MSNBC and the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Nachman is a guest journalism lecturer at Stanford University. She lives in Northern California with her husband and three children.
