The Foolkiller Folk collective explores the storytelling, cultural, and protest power of folk music from as far back as the Child Ballads through as current as released today.

Mark & Val with English folk. Mostly recent releases but we’ll also hear from Nic Jones’ early recordings. There’s a segment of children’s songs; a segment on Napoleon (who abdicated in April 1814, restoring Louis XVIII to the French throne); and a good sampling of the usual love and loss and murder songs.
