On this week’s Heartland Labor Forum we ask, “how are good jobs being turned bad?” with two examples: if prison isn’t slave labor, it’s close. We’ll have a survey of jobs that have gone to federal and state prisons and then we explore how the U.S. Postal Service and Staples are stamping out good postal jobs and turning them into low-wage, non-union ones. That’s Thursday at 6pm, rebroadcast Friday at 5am.
