1.6 million Americans lost their unemployment benefits on 12/28/13. How are they to survive if Congress does not extend the safety net so many need as they continue to look for work. One local resident will share her story. We will also have Kenneth Dawn of the National Association of Mental Illness of Greater Kansas City, MO to discuss how depression plays a huge role in the lives of the long-term unemployed.
