Trans Talk November 2015: Legislative disaster in Houston, the Transgender Institute of Kansas City, and a special film premiere.

On today’s show Trans Talk hostess Una Nowling will be covering two topics. First she’ll speak with transgender historian and activist Cristan Williams about the recent repeal of Houston’s anti-discrimination ordinance, which some are claiming is the first major loss in the war for transgender rights. Then she will be talking with Caroline Gibbs, the founder and director of the Transgender Institute here in Kansas City, to discuss some very exciting upcoming events, including a special showing of “The Danish Girl,” and to talk a little about the services offered by the Institute.
