The Tenth Voice (LGBTQIA)
The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBTQIA+ people in our community in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world online. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Transgender & Nonbinary people, Queer, Intersex, Asexual & Aromantic people and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice radio show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA+ Kansas City Community.
Your host, Sandra Meade, will be joined by the original founding host of Trans Talk, Danna Wheeldon, as well as Caroline Gibbs, Founder of The Transgender Institute, for a great show! Sandra and Danna will interview a courageous trans youth about his challenges and successes on the journey toward living a truly authentic life. Next up, Caroline will share details about the upcoming “Come As You Are” Transgender Summits, one in February for the MTF community, and one in March for the FTM community.
And of course, as usual the show will start with the LGBT news by Sandra, and end with the Community Calendar update brought to you by Michael Poppa.
