Union-Busting, Mexico Style

Many people know that NAFTA has been a disaster for Mexican workers, with lost jobs, increasing poverty and pressure to migrate, but few here have heard of the resistance by Mexican workers to privatization of vast sectors of the economy and to union busting. On this week’s Heartland Labor Forum we profile the Mexican Electrical Workers union with a top officer who recently came to Kansas City for a labor conference.
