Local Showcase
The Local ShowCase features live or recorded performances of music, poetry, prose, etc. of local and regional artists. This showcase is hosted by a variety of KKFI programmers covering a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Lawrence poets Topher Enneking and Garret C. Tufte and Kansas City poet Sharon Gibson will share their thoughts on poetry that was recorded at the Uptown Arts Bar. This talented team will analyze and comment of the featured poetry, deconstructing the techniques used and evaluating the emotional or intellectual impact of the featured works.
The second hour of this Local Showcase will feature music by local artists.
