Veronica’s Voice, Fighting Commercial Sexual Exploitation In Our Community and A Look Back At Those Voices and Volunteers that Made JoJR Happen

With this edition of Jaws of Justice Radio we will now be broadcasting from 9AM to 10AM Central. The JoJR group has worked hard and long for this opportunity to bring you more of the information, resources and guests that you have come to appreciate. Stay tuned for some new features too.

Our first expanded show will feature a talk with Kristy Childs, Executive Director and Founder of Veronica’s Voice about their work helping women who are being sexually exploited get off the street and out of the life. We will also talk about their plans to work with other groups to develop a former Seminary into a campus to help their clients and exploited and abused children find their way back from their experiences.
Veronica’s Voice is Kansas City’s only advocacy and survivor-recovery program dedicated solely to victims of prostitution, commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. The primary focus of Veronica’s Voice is to offer compassionate and non-judgmental support to victims through survivor-run services. Veronica’s Voice offers exploited individuals a safe place to process their experiences with others who can relate to them, allowing them to take control of their lives.
You can contact them at PO BOX 172472, KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI 66117, OFFICE: (816) 483-7101 | CRISIS LINE: (816) 728-0004 or on line at [email protected] website – http://www.veronicasvoice.org/

In the second Half of our show Jeff Humfeld Producer of Jaws of Justice Radio presents a compilation of the voices and volunteers that have worked so hard to get JoJR to this point. It takes a lot of work and commitment to put on a radio show and these Folks do this work without monetary gain of any kind. We hope you have been listening in the past and recognize voices and shows that touched you somehow and will encourage others to be part of this experiment also.
