Veterans’ Voices – Writing From The Soul For The Soul

Veterans Voices – Writing From The Soul For The Soul

Hospitalized Veterans’ Writing Project (HVWP) utilizes therapeutic writing to rehabilitate veterans. Their Mission is to enable military veterans to experience solace and satisfaction through our writing program.

The project encourages veterans to express their thoughts and feelings in writing and to send their stories, essays and poems to the HVWP headquarters for potential publication in Veterans’ Voices magazine. HVWP publishes Veterans’ Voices three times a year. The magazine is made possible by ongoing contributions to HVWP and with the support of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Today’s host is Beth Pike, Beth is our regular engineer for JoJR and this is the first show she is producing for us. Her guests are Margaret Clark, Editor in Chief of Veterans’ Voices, Tina Hacker, Poetry Editor of Veterans’ Voices and Perry Puccetti, President and Chief officer of Triple-I Corporation. They will talk about Veteran’s Voices Magazine, how veterans can submit their writing and share some of their own writing. They will also let you know how you can show your support for the magazine and the Hospitalized Veterans writing Project.
