Music from the 13th Annual Crossroads Music Festival with Guest Co-Host Bill Sundahl

We’ll feature music from 18 bands participating in the 13th annual Crossroads Music Fest, presented by 90.1 FM KKFI, on Saturday, September 9, featuring 60 bands/artists, on 9 stages, all within 3 blocks, in Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts & Music District. Mark will spin tracks from: The Phantastics, Crystal Rose, Duncan Burnett, The Safes, Mad Libby, Mundo Nouvo, Making Movies, Eems, Pagaent Boys, Mess, Barclay Martin Ensemble, Jenna Rae (of Jenna & Martin), Carswell & Hope, Kyle Reid, Ivy, Tyler Gregory, Lisa Henry, and The Project H.

Bill Sundahl, founder of Crossroads Music Festival and 90.1 FM KKFI’s Development Director. Bill joins us as co-host for the entire show to share details about participating artists, and venues: recordBar at 1520 Grand, Black Dolphin at 1813 Grand, The Brick at 1727 McGee, The Living Room Upstairs and The Living Room Downstairs at 1818 McGee, Mod Gallery at 1809 McGee, Green Lady Lounge at 1809 Grand, Collection at 1532 Grand, and Normal Human at 1815 McGee, with Day Parties at Josey Records at 1814 Oak, and Brewery Emperial at 1829 Oak. The Crossroads Music Fest also include showcases from The Record Machine, Lost Cowgirl Records and Making Movies Carnival.

The Crossroads Music Fest also presents the Midwest Music Foundation Free Musicians’ Health Care Clinic at The Living Room Theater, 1818 McGee St, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Midwest Music Foundation along with The RockDocs, a collaboration of University of Kansas and the Community Health Council of Wyandotte County, present a Free Musicians’ Health Care Clinic that will offer information, screenings, wellness programs, opportunities to discuss health conditions and concerns and arrange follow-up opportunities.
