The Pitch Music Awards & Nominees
with Natalie Gallagher, Music Editor at The Pitch.
Mark plays music from some of 75 Kansas City based bands nominated for 2014 Pitch Music Awards. We’ll hear music from: Katy Guillen and the Girls, Bummer, Josh Berwanger Band, Shy Boys, My Oh My, The Pedaljets, My Brothers & Sisters, Victor & Penny, The Grisly Hand, John Velghe and the Prodigal Sons, Your Friend., Radkey, Troglodyte, Not A Planet, Various Blonde, Chris Hazelton’s Boogalloo 7, Shay Estes, Kansas City Bear Fighters, AJ Gaither OMB, Stik Figa, The Bad Ideas, Sigrah, and Ha Ha Tonka.
The Pitch Music Editor – Natalie Gallagher joins us for the entire show as our special guest. Natalie will share information about The Pitch Music Showcases: Saturday, July 19, at 7:00 pm, at The Riot Room, with two stages of Pitch Music Award nominees, including: Abnorm, Approach, Bummer, Rev Gusto, Bad Ideas, Berwanger, New Riddim & DJ Sheppa. AND, Friday, July 25 at 7:00 pm, at Knuckleheads Saloon, featuring Pitch Music Award nominees: A.J. Gaither, Pedaljets, Katy Guillen, Grisly Hand, Not a Planet, and more!
Winners will be announced at The Pitch Music Awards on Sunday, August 3, at The Uptown Theater and in The Pitch on Thursday, August 7. The Pitch Music Awards will be co-hosted by Eric Melin and Judy Mills.
