Mike Alexander of Hipshot Killer + Cody Wyoming of “Pontypool” + Sara Glass & C Woods + Kianna Alarid of Yes You Are
Mark plays new music from David Bowie, Hipshot Killer, Yes You Are, High Up, Hinds, Under The Big Oak Tree, and The Philistines!
At 10:15 Mark talks with Mike Alexander of the KC based punk trio, Hipshot Killer. We’ll play music from the band’s brand new album, They Will Try to Kill Us All, released on vinyl on January 16, 2016. Hipshot Killer will play an album release show on Saturday, January 23, at 9:00pm, at minibar, 3810 Broadway, with The Big Iron, and Super Thief.
At 10:35 Cody Wyoming & John Rensenhouse join us to share information about “Pontypool,” an adaptation by Kimmie Queen and Cody Wyoming of a radio play by Canadian writer Tony Burgess which was an adaptation of his screenplay for the 2008 horror movie “Pontypool.” The play runs through January 31, at The Living Room, 1818 McGee.
