Wednesday MidDay Medley plays “The MidCoast Sound” from: Witch Jail, Jaenki, Foxlin, Faultfinder, The Ovaries-eez, and Verbose. We’ll also feature music from: Nancy and Beth, Calvin Arsenia, and Bobby Rush who are playing Folk Alliance International Conference on February 15 – 19 at Westin Crown Center and the Kansas City Folk Festival Sunday, Feb 19. We’ll also play new music from Mary Timony, and Love Always (Kathy Foster from The Thermals).

At 10:30 Sid Sowder, founder of Too Much Rock, and members of the KC based band, Witch Jail, join us live in our 90.1 FM Studios to share information about the new Too Much Rock Single Series release. We’ll broadcast the premiere of the new Too Much Rock B-side, featuring Witch Jail, covering the Alien Sex Fiend song, “My Brain is in the Cupboard (Above the Kitchen Sink). We will also play the A-side, Witch Jail original song, “Slimewave, USA!” Too Much Rock presents Witch Jail in “Slimewave USA!”, Friday, February 10, at Mills Record Company.
Too Much Rock, a music blog site created by Sid Sowder in 1997, where he shares his photos & videos & comments of the live music shows he attends. Sid also posts podcasts! The Too Much Rock Singles Series is a collection of 45 rpm singles that marry great songs with great bands all for the love of vinyl. Each old-school two-song single features one unique song paired with one cover chosen by Too Much Rock who press 500 limited edition copies and then simply give them to the band.
